In recent times, I’ve been writing a series about some of the world’s popular luxury hotel groups , both big and small. Recently, I wrote about the Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis brands , which are two of Marriott’s most popular luxury hotel groups. In this post, I’d like to take a look at what’s generally considered to be the pinnacle of the Hyatt portfolio, which is the Park Hyatt brand. On balance, Park Hyatt is my favorite brand with a major loyalty program, though there are aspects of the brand that I think are getting a bit worse over time (as I’ll explain below).
