Founded in 1904 in Geneva, ZRC first specialised in bracelets and waterproof cases before entering the world of professional dive watches in the late 1950s. The big change came when ZRC was contracted by the French Navy and created the Grands Fonds line , robust, highly engineered instruments designed for underwater use. Defined by their unconventional construction, with the signature crown at 6 o’clock and the Crown Protection System (CPS), these watches became trusted tools for military divers for decades. Revived in the mid-2010s under Georges Brunet, ZRC has since focused almost exclusively on diving watches, refining its historical concepts with the application of modern materials and engineering. The latest interpretations of this unique legacy are the pair of new Grands Fonds MN64 Titanium editions that bring a slightly refined, almost luxurious dimension to the concept.…
