Authorities say a Spokane County woman drove onto a sidewalk and allegedly chased a child riding an electric dirt bike while intoxicated before later wandering onto a stranger's property looking for eggs. The Spokane County Sheriff's Office and court documents show the incident happened just outside Cheney city limits in the West Terrace neighborhood. Deputies say around 6 p.m. on April 28 in the 7500 block of South Fruitvale Road, Clemente drove her silver Ford Focus onto a sidewalk and chased a child riding a dirt bike, at one point attempting to hit them. The child was not injured. About 25 minutes after the initial incident, deputies were called to a separate report in the 10700 block of West Melville Road, about a mile away, where a homeowner reported someone trying door handles as he watched on his live security system.
