All News Sport Culture Lifestyle Wayne Couzens is serving a whole-life order for the 2021 murder of Sarah Everard (PA Media) A former Metropolitan Police constable, Michael Needham, was found by a misconduct panel to have told a female colleague, Pc X, "I hope you get Wayne Couzened". Needham also allegedly threatened Pc X, stating he would "rape" and "annihilate" her during an off-duty incident at a London pub in early 2025. The panel concluded, on the balance of probabilities, that both incidents occurred as alleged by Pc X, despite Needham's denials. The panel highlighted that Needham's behaviour was abusive, oppressive, harassing, bullying, and offensive, bringing discredit to the police service. Had he still been serving, Needham would have been dismissed, and he will now be added to the College of Policing barred list.…
