Washington junior Finn Koelle shot 4-under 66 in the third round and finished second in the Big Ten men’s golf championships Sunday at Pumpkin Ridge GC in North Plains, Oregon. Koelle moved up five spots to finish at 5-under 205. The Huskies placed third at 2-over 842. UCLA was first (-8, 832), led by medalist Josh Kim (-8, 202). DeCarlo hit a two-run homer, Blake Wilson hit a three-run homer and Jackson Hotchkiss also homered for the Huskies (21-26, 10-14 Big Ten), who broke the game open with a seven-run sixth inning. • Host Washington State put the tying run on second in the ninth inning but a comeback fell short as Fresno State won 5-4.
