During the week, Halo and Destiny developer Bungie announced the end of content updates for live service shooter Destiny 2 . Nearly nine years after launch, and after a myriad of content updates and monetisation changes, the developer has called a day on the storied MMOFPS, announcing that the final content drop for the game will land on 9th June, 2026. Unlike Concord , Steel Hunters , and Highguard , the studio stressed that the game will remain online and playable in the same way that the original Destiny still remains alive with a small community to this day.…
