My 9 year old has been fencing for a little over a year. We signed him up for a competition at our home club in July and while we borrowed an epee last year and they will occasionally use one in class, but I think it's probably time to get our own electric sword(s). I know technically for formal sanctioned events you need two, but frankly they're quite expensive and to buy 4 set ups is a bit much for our budget unless we can get a good deal. We can also just get one of each amd borrow if something happens.

Does anyone have suggestions for what to get or where to buy from? We're not opposed to used and most of his equipment he has now is used, but there doesn't seem to be much out there or is pistol grip instead of french (his preference) and I'm not sure what a good price is.
