Piranha: Pacific Nightmare According to Bloody-Disgusting , Christopher Lloyd is attached to reprise his role as Dr. Carl Goodman in the next entry of the Piranha franchise, now officially titled Piranha: Pacific Nightmare. Directed by Stens Christensen ( Raging Angels ), the story concerns “a scientist creating a new breed of Piranha/Tuna hybrid that could live in saltwater as a new food source” until “the DNA mutates into a deadly new species.” The project plans to film in Japan and is currently accepting donations on the Japanese crowdfunding website, Camp-Fire .
