I’d like to state that I am not an Aqara hater at all. I own many Aqara products that all worked great for the 12-18 months of use. Then, one day, poof - all of my child devices are now incredibly bad. Since I had such luck with Aqara for awhile, I bought many of their products and have them on ZHA. Contact sensors, motion sensors, buttons, lights, locks etc. Recently i decided that I wanted to add some of their leak detectors to my mesh, and my mesh hasn’t been the same since. I added 10, and they were pretty awful right out of the box. Obviously they are in difficult to reach areas, but that’s where the leaks happen. I fought them for awhile and eventually gave up and decided it just wasn’t meant to be. In the time since, contact sensors that worked like a Swiss watch for a year started falling off constantly. The motion sensors runs through batteries, a button just straight up died. I reconnect, they drop off again after a few days, rinse and repeat.…
