Unexpectedly might have my first fight in 9 days. Opponent is ~6 inches taller (5’8 vs 6’2), 4kg/9lbs heavier (74kg vs 78kg, 163lbs vs 172lbs) and 2.5 years more experience than me (7 months vs 3yrs). How cooked am I?

tiny bit of clickbait in the title. This is for the university I attend’s fight night, and my fight (if it happens) would be a friendly non decision (there won’t be a winner crowned) against a friend of mine just to start the night. 3 rounds, 1.5 min per round.

Question still stands, what are some tactics for fighting folks that are significantly taller and more experienced than me? also advice for nerves would be appreciated)

I don’t expect/want to knock him out (not that I could even if I did want to), as I am friends with the guy, but I wanna be able to put on a show for the crowd and be like “this is what I have learned during my time with the kickboxing club”.
