hi, my basement is flooding and we can't stop it. a plumber is on their way but who knows how long it will take. we got about two inches of water and it keeps coming from the sink and toilet ( and shower drain ) in our basement. i've also been told we're flooding from multiple pipes even after our water has been turned off

how do we stop it ? i don't know if this is even the right place to ask but i'm desperate.

edit : wanted to add that we've tried clogging the toilet and sink with cloths but it's not doing much to help
