Hi friends, as you can tell from the title, I had a massive jump in my MCAT score. I wish I could say what caused this jump to happen, but truly I am still processing and in shock. I've never had a higher score than 126 in CARS, and I truly felt like I bombed C/P since I googled 5 questions and got them all wrong after the exam (as well as guessing / not being sure on quite a bit). B/b and P/s were expected scores for me, but not 132 in B/b; I thought at most I'd get a 131! (I also wore adidas slides to my exam, so maybe this was the secret) But the most important thing I can say is that I truly believed in myself throughout this entire process. My first attempt (505), I really got into my own head; being a first-gen Latino at a no-name California State University (people have laughed at me for attending this university), having to compete with all these really smart gents at Ivy League Schools, it was hard to really focus and have confidence in myself.…
