Anyone looking for a sneak peek at the new Star Wars movie, The Mandalorian and Grogu , over the past few weeks has almost certainly been shown the same clip: a snow-bound action scene that opens the movie. First, it played for members of the press. Next, it played at CinemaCon . After that, Disney uploaded a chunk of it to Disney+. Monday night, it’s playing in theaters for fans, and now part of it is online too, which you can see below. And, of course, moments from this scene are sprinkled all throughout the trailers that have been released. Yes, the opening few minutes of The Mandalorian and Grogu have become the centerpiece of Disney’s marketing for the film, which, we think, has its pluses and minuses.
