Colorado State Patrol said a driver died in a single-car rollover crash along Interstate 25 near the Air Force Academy early Friday.
Trooper Hunter Mathews said a call came in around 6:15 a.m. about a yellow Chevrolet sedan driving southbound on the exit 156 on-ramp, which leads into the north entrance of the Air Force Academy. When troopers arrived, they found the crash and the driver, who was pronounced dead on scene.

As of 8 a.m. Friday, the on-ramp at North Gate Boulevard remained closed, but Mathews said it was expected reopen soon.
State Patrol had no preliminary findings on what caused the crash.
