So, at the end of summer in September, my boyfriend and I will drive to Montenegro from Hungary. We’ll stay one night in Croatia on the way and then spend 7 nights there.

We’ve booked an Airbnb in Budva, but we’re definitely planning to drive around the country as well mostly on the coast. Since we’ve never been to Budva, and even though we’ve tried to research things to do and see in different places, I would really love to get suggestions from people who have been there—especially those who have visited multiple times—or from locals who could share their advice and opinions.

I’m mostly interested in things to do in Budva and Kotor: authentic restaurants and bars (we really love places that aren’t touristy), beautiful and less crowded beaches, and great sunset spots, if you know any. But honestly, I’d appreciate any recommendations you’d like to share—I’m open to everything!
