The Channel Island Jersey has seen an increase in interest among British travellers amid travel instability . In response, airlines have increased their flight capacity between the UK and the island for this summer and next. Jet2 announced last week that it is introducing flights and holidays to Jersey from Birmingham and Bristol from next summer, while extra capacity has been added from Manchester. Jet2 already operates to Jersey from East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle airports. The change represents an increase in capacity of more than 140 per cent compared to this summer.
