I picked 2 of these up back in January. Thinking they would be quite like the DAE’s are however they are not. Does anyone have any info on ways to make the fans calm down? I have them connected to a 12gb SAS card and tried issuing sas command to calm them down but no luck. Debating on selling them on [r/homelabsales](r/homelabsales) and picking up 2 DAE’s and just running 6gb if I can’t get them to settle down.

TLDR: fans loud, ideas on how to calm them down?
