15s threshold

I (30M) am a Canadian professional engineer, and I currently make just over 100k. A year ago, my wife and I welcomed our baby to the family, and we made the decision together for her to stay home and raise our child after her maternity leave was over. Now there is a new financial strain on the family. We are busy but I have the energy and motivation to do more. My company does not allow overtime, otherwise I would simply take an extra 10 hours per week. In my location, this salary is very competitive, and I do not want to consider relocating. I would love to start some kind of side gig to make additional money for my family. It needs to be something that’s flexible enough to work around my 9-5 and time with the baby. I thought about potentially building and selling some kind of product like sheds, but I don’t currently have a great setup for something like that (not saying I couldn’t, but don’t know if it’s ideal). Would love to hear what you think submitted by /u/3_offthe_tee [link] [comments]
