I suck at playing drums I currently 16 years old and 2 years ago i joined the schools band as a drummer since they needed one. So i kinda stepped into a band with 0 experience or plan, but a dream When i was 15 i hired a drum teacher and was pretty fun for a bit. The teacher eventually quit and i got a New one which is fine too. I have been having fun in the school band or when i play along to songs at home. But as i progressed. I realized how much i suck at this. The more i get into it the more i hear my beats are off beat. Even the tiniest stuff pisses me off and makes me want to quit cause it feels like i am not cut out for this crap. My drum teacher gives me some homework and i learn it. But when i play it together with him. It throws me off and i look like a fool for not knowing how to get back into the beat. I js sit there like an idiot until my teacher finnished the sheet by himself to later give me that judging look.…
