I've just recently moved from a swim club in a small town to a club in the big city, Ive swam since I was kid and only recently I've heard when swimming a 200m during a recent training and I got reprimanded by the coach in the new club attached to the school, he told me with an angry/annoyed tone that when I swim 200m free I should swim a 27 for the first 50 and then a 32/30 for the next 2 50s and the last 50 go +4 of your pb, he told me I have not figured it out and that is true, Im not very experienced despite swimming for very long, I don't even know why we are using this pattern of swimming specifically for the 200m.
