Brookfield Properties is developing “The Market Hall at Manhattan West” in a 40,000-square-foot space at 450 West 33rd Street. “This project will add to the neighborhood’s vibrancy with a vast collection of diverse, casual dining options, an independent full-service restaurant and an outdoor terrace featuring a lively bar,” Brookfield indicated in a statement. Manhattan West does have an upscale selection of restaurants including Ci Siamo, Zou Zou’s, and Chez Zou, as well as a Whole Foods. It’s expected that The Market Hall, which is slated to open during the fall of 2026, will draw from some of the F&B elements of the successful Brookfield Place complex in lower Manhattan, which features a mix of high-end restaurants, a chef-driven food hall called Hudson Eats , and views of the Hudson River.
