Like the title says, faucet leaks at the base of the handle. Really only does it when off. I'm wondering if it's a pressure issue?

It lasted about 2 years before the leak started.

I've tried replacing the cartridge, that didn't work.

I tried replacing the entire faucet with another pfister model. That worked for a week then the exact same thing started again.

No leaking under the sink. All connections are dry.

Seems unlikely that a new cartridge and an entirely new faucet still have the same leak.

Ideas?
