Orthopedic Insoles for Dress Shoes? Hey guys, I’ve unfortunately been “blessed” with flat feet, so I basically have no arch. I really like dress shoes and own quite a few pairs from brands like Carmina and C&J. The issue is that they don’t provide enough support for all-day wear, especially since I like to walk to and from work. Even if I switch to slippers during office hours, my feet still get quite tired. Using insoles with arch support helps a lot. I can walk for hours in sneakers with insoles for flat feet, even non-custom ones, and they make a huge difference. The problem is with dress (Goodyear welted) shoes. Since you can’t remove the existing insole, adding another one raises the foot too much. This causes heel slippage. I’ve even tried suede heel grips, but my foot still sits too high. It feels like the heel just can’t lock in properly because of the added height. I’ve also tried custom insoles. I specifically asked for the thinnest possible version (they’re also 3/4 length).…
