Adam Scott once attempted an unlikely return to the “ Hellraiser ” franchise, even after his character was killed off. During a recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where he was promoting his latest project “Hokum,” Scott reflected on auditioning for 2002’s “Hellraiser: Hellseeker,” years after making his film debut in “Hellraiser: Bloodline.” In the earlier installment, Scott played Jacques, a servant who helps summon a demon before meeting a violent end. At the time, Scott said, he was largely unfamiliar with the long-running horror series and simply eager for the opportunity.
