Donald Trump has announced the removal of tariffs on Scottish whisky following the King and Queen’s US visit . The US president cited the Scotch industry’s relationship with American bourbon and the influence of the royals’ White House visit, noting that most Scotch producers source their casks from the US. Mr Trump stated that while "people have wanted to do this for a long time", the King and Queen "got me to do something that nobody else was able to do".
