Are there advocates for widows of stroke victims who made a lot of expensive decisions while being incoherent due to brain damage? My dad passed away in January after months of his physical and mental health declining due to multiple strokes, and in the last few months of his life he was almost completely gone mentally. While he was still alive he had done/purchased some incredibly expensive things while he was living at his mother’s away from my mom. He had bought an expensive phone and an expensive smartwatch that my family literally cannot afford due to the tens of thousands of dollars of medical debt. To take this a step further, Xfinity has decided to charge my mom hundreds due to the fact that they had been charging my dads mom a couple hundred dollars a month and she had to dispute it because she didn’t agree to any sort of payment plans or anything.
