Long distance girlfriend and I are concerned about being able to close the distance in grad school My girlfriend and I are both 3rd year undergraduate students. We've been long-distance for a while now and were hoping to be able to close the distance after graduating. However, both of us are interested in graduate school and we are worried that this interest may complicate our goal of moving in after college. One issue is that I was aiming to enter graduate school directly after getting my Bachelor's while my partner intends to take one or two gap years before starting her graduate studies. As a result, if we want to stay together in the same city she would be significantly limited in the number of schools she could apply to. Plus, with how competitive these applications can be, I'm worried that the probability of the two of us getting into programs in the same school or city is low.…
