Hi folks. I’m dipping my toes into wanting to make some new music.

I played piano from a young age and actively play guitar.

I’ve been listening to a lot of house recently and really wanna crack into making some stuff of my own and mainly just having fun as well.

I’ve done some research and was stuck between choosing the Roland MC101 or the Novation Circuit Tracks as something to start with.

Im aware the Roland sounds are a lot nicer and organic maybe but understand the back end menu stuff can be quite daunting.

I will mainly be using headphones and will likely use my Akai keyboard with it in conjunction. Eventually I would also quite like to buy a Korg Minilogue for some extra stuff.

Can anyone shed some light on the Roland MC101 as someone with not a whole heap of gear knowledge outside guitar stuff.
