Colorado Springs police saw a fatal shooting, a student’s arrest and a protest turned hostile last week, among other incidents, with law enforcement making 325 arrests in El Paso County. From April 26 to May 2, the Colorado Springs Police Department posted eight blotter entries to its public database of incidents approved for release. Here is a recap of those entries: On Sunday, April 26, one person died after being shot in the 2800 block of North Powers Boulevard just after 12:30 a.m. Police arrived and found two additional victims, a man and a juvenile female, both of whom were shot at least once. After being treated on scene, one victim died, and the other two were taken to a hospital.
