So, as everyone know: Starfleet Academy has been cancelled. However, S2 is still set to be released, and it will end on a cliffhanger. Now, I personally, really liked SFA. It was a really fun and optimistic show that took place in an interesting and relatively unexplored era. But it (supposedly) had really low viewership. You could argue whether that was caused by the dedicated hate campaign (true), absolutely abysmal marketing (true), or it just being a niche concept (also true), but the fact is that it was cancelled. And you know what? I could've lived with that. In the current streaming-era, two high-quality seasons is pretty good. Especially for such a niche concept. Sure, I would've liked more, but it's not the end of the world. But apparently S2 ends on a cliffhanger. And with the constant attacks and relatively poor reception of both Discovery and SFA, I do not think Paramount will be returning to the 32nd-century any time soon (or at all).…
