EXCLUSIVE : James Badge Dale ( World War Z ), Elena Anaya ( Wonder Woman ) and Laurence Fishburne ( The Matrix ) have been set to star in writer-director Mel Rodriguez III’s ( In Stereo ) crime thriller Interference . Set in Spain, Interference “follows a successful American expat whose carefully constructed life with his wife and son begins to unravel after he is arrested for crimes he insists he did not commit, exposing a dangerous past and a truth far more personal than anyone around him understands.” Rodriguez III also produces alongside Juan Aura for Teté Studios. Spencer Garrett ( Once Upon a Time in Hollywood ) will co-star and serves as an executive producer along with Paul Miloknay ( Habit ). Pia Patatian’s production and sales company Noora Films is handling international rights and will introduce buyers to the crime thriller at this week’s Cannes market.
