The Witcher 3 is, in my humble opinion, the best game ever made. Sure, some of y’all may find faults in it, such as its jank or simplistic combat, but it is as close to perfection as it can be, with probably the greatest story ever told in the history of the industry (and some of the best side quests ever, too). And now CDPR has updated us with just how many copies the title has sold in its 11-year run: 65 million and counting. It’s a stunning number that’d make your head spin and also one that places The Witcher 3 firmly among the best-selling games of all time. It’s eighth, just behind Terraria, which, according to Wikipedia’s list, sold around 70 million copies to date. I almost cried when I saw this.
