The first season of Netflix's Devil May Cry animated series , which is based on Capcom's games of the same name, arrived on the service in April last year. It was enough of a hit that a second Devil May Cry season was given the greenlight just a week after the first season debuted. However, there were those who felt Netflix hadn't done some of the Devil May Cry characters justice in the show and didn't understand the source material.
