The girls’ tennis season has reached its final week of competition. Numerous Pikes Peak region players qualified for the individual state tournament, which begins Thursday and will conclude Saturday. The Colorado High School Activities Association on Monday released pairings for the upcoming three-day tournament, which can be found on CHSAA’s website. First round and quarterfinal matches start Thursday at 9 a.m. while semifinals and second-round playbacks will be played Friday, also at 9 a.m. For 4A and 3A finals on Saturday, competition will begin at 9 a.m. while 5A starts at 10 a.m. The tournament will take place throughout the state with 3A locally at Memorial Park, 4A in Pueblo at Pueblo City Park and 5A at Denver City Park. In 5A, on Thursday only, Denver South High School will host No. 3 and No. 4 doubles.
