It doesn’t ask for attention. It just lingers quietly in your surroundings. You start noticing small things. Something you see on the street reminds you of them. A flavor they like catches your attention. A random moment makes you pause for a second and think: they would have liked this. And without even realizing it, a smile appears on your face. Because in your mind, they are there too. Sometimes you even imagine their reaction. If they were here, what would they say about this? Would they laugh? Would they like it? Would they tease you for noticing something so small? And in that moment, you wish they were actually there. Not in a heavy or demanding way… just quietly. Naturally. Because it was never about possession. Not really.…
