15s threshold

There’s a friend of mine who played football in hs. He was running back, now around 5’8” 186lb. He had excellent sudden acceleration; an excellent 40yd dash record but was not as excellent as soon as it became 100m, 200m. He believes it’s due to his short stride and fast turnover rate of his feet. His 0-100 is super fast, and that sudden acceleration attribute seemed to bring him great success in boxing. He won a lot of amateur championships.

The thing is, he got into judo about a year ago and wants to work on a tokui waza, but says feels lost on what throw would suit his strong points the most. (His dojo somehow focuses mainly on kata and doesn’t seem to provide good ideas) I wanted to help him out with some ideas, but I couldn’t think of anything else than kouchi and ouchi. Any good ideas would be welcome and interesting.
