Regions Queenstown Thanks to supportive businesses, Sustainable Queenstown (SQ) has been gifted another shed to store gear for its burgeoning waste-reduction project, DISHrupt. As it’s catering for more and more events — preventing them needing to use single-use takeaway cups and plates that go straight to landfill — its original shed’s been bursting at the seams. It’s now been gifted a second shed, also kindly hosted by Frankton’s Remarkables Market, thanks to Bunnings, which donated the shed and flooring, Classic Builders, which constructed it, and other businesses. "We’re really appreciative," SQ GM Eleanor Trueman says. Pictured with the new shed are, from left, local Classic Builders construction manager Alec Smith and build support manager Megan Olsen and SQ’s communications and operations co-ordinator Jess Larmont and Trueman. Trueman says they help any event from small children’s birthday parties to festivals attended by thousands.…
