Virginia Tech softball is on the doorstep. To be more specific, the doorstep of winning the ACC title. Prior to today, the Hokies haven't competed in the title game since 2012, and they haven't won it since 2008 β the same year they made it to the Women's College World Series. Top-seeded Florida State stands in the way of Virginia Tech en route to the title. Last year, the two teams matched up for a three-game series that Florida State won, 2-1.
