My initial thoughts: The installation was simpler than expected. They’re battery-powered, no wiring is needed, so I just need to fix the base and twist the unit on. The whole process went quickly, and for my setup, which requires installation across different buildings (main house + backyard barn), this no-wiring design really saves a lot of hassle. The wireless interconnection was the main reason I chose them. Once paired, if one unit is triggered, the others sound as well. For a layout like mine with a house and barn, this is necessary. If smoke appears in one area, it won’t just alert locally, the entire system notifies me simultaneously instead.
