Carbon Fiber Wrap on a Rocket Hi guys, I'm sorta new to rocketry, only flown a few rockets for TARC before. I'm working on a project with a 29mm motor (F42-4T). Its supposed to fly 1km at at \~170m/s. I really like the look of carbon fiber on rockets, and I wanna imitate that by using an automotive wrap or something. I don't have any experience with wrapping for cars as well. I have a few questions, How ugly would it look? I've done a bit of research with people saying carbon fiber wrap looks ugly, but if it even looks a little bit like the real thing I think that looks super cool Would it fly off during flight? This obviously depends on the type and adhesion method, so if any of you have ideas about how I would go about it. It would be over a cardboard body tube and a 3d printed transition. Would there be any other major concerns I'm not seeing? I still consider myself new to all of this, so feedback would be super appreciative.…
