Why GE Aerospace Is Pouring €110M Into European Factories Right Now

Aerospace manufacturer GE Aerospace has announced €110 million in capital investment across European manufacturing operations, alongside plans to hire more than 1,000 workers across the continent this year.  Italy receives the largest allocation at €77 million, with the remaining €33 million split across Poland, the UK, the Czech Republic, and Romania. The investment breakdown tells only part of the story. The figures come directly from GE Aerospace’s announcement, which covers both production capacity and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations across 18 European countries where the company employs approximately 13,000 people. “This significant investment reflects our long-term commitment to the European aerospace industry, a crucial market for many of our key customers,” said Riccardo Procacci, President and CEO, Propulsion & Additive Technologies at GE Aerospace.…
