Hey, so I have been swimming weekly consistently for the last 5 weeks in May and have lost 4.7kg so far. Have done 32.5km in total as of now. Some days I know I haven’t eaten enough and feel it in recovery and in my swim energy wise. But then some days I feel I eat too much especially after my swim. I am just trying to find the right balance. I usually go swimming after work so at night from around 6-9pm depending on what pool I go to and so on. I make sure to have protein and carbs but was curious to know what others eat that fills them up and keeps weight off and how many calories they tend to have on a swim day. I am 5’10 woman so fairly tall I try and limit to 1,800 per day but sometimes when I have this much on a big swim day I feel it the next day or maybe burn 1,200 calories from a long 3km swim etc. If anyone has done swimming for weight loss what worked for you? I have cottage cheese, protein drinks, vegges, beef jerky, yoghurt, eggs, meat and other things like that.…
