I am a new grad (22) and I am looking to start saving to move out, set myself up for the future, etc. My circumstances: - 8k in savings - 25k in federal student loans (will be aggressively paying off half of it the coming year) - starting remote job in june that has a base 58.5k salary with a 401k 4% match - summer job will get me an additional 4k - no car payment nor phone - parents home in very low cost area My goals: - move out by jan 2027 / summer 2027, ideally landing in DC (where the office is for my remote job) - aggressively pay off half of my student loans in the next year - start investing in retirement What would you guys recommend to achieve those goals? submitted by /u/Euphoric_Boat_4604 [link] [comments]
