At Buffalo Peak Golf Course in Union on Monday and Tuesday, the Saints won the 4A/3A/2A/1A Special District 6 championships with a combined team score of 802, seven strokes ahead of second-place Dufur’s 809 after two rounds of golf. “This is only our third season of fielding a full girls golf team and they have improved significantly during that time,” said Trinity Lutheran coach Brian Feeney. The Saints had three golfers finish in the top 11 with junior Hallie Feeney finishing third overall with a 36-hole score of 183 (+39). Freshman Harlie Freeborn was fifth with a score of 188 (+44) and Rocky Berger placed 11th after shooting a 201 (+57).
