Expect cooler temperatures with highs around 50 degrees Fahrenheit both Saturday and Sunday. Local trails are in pretty good shape. Certainly a little dusty, but what can you expect during a drought in a desert. The best riding conditions can probably be found at higher elevations. Below are some recommended spots for recreation this weekend. Farewell trail offers technical descent, breathtaking views The high country is calling. All trails — including Farewell, Mrazek and Metolius-Windigo — in the Tumalo Falls area are rideable, according to reports on bendtrails.org, Farewell is a ripping descent from Mrazek down to the Tumalo Falls parking area.
