Season 1 of Fox ‘s Best Medicine launched in January but fans won’t need to wait until next January for Season 2. The network this morning unveiled its fall 2026 schedule , and Best Medicine is on it, once again paired with fellow medical drama Doc on Tuesdays for what Fox’s head of scheduling Dan Harrison called “a night of medical marvels.” During a pre-upfront call on Sunday, Harrison also revealed that Best Medicine will produce 14 episodes next season. That is up from 13 the show delivered in Season 1 and also higher than the 12-episode Season 2 order Fox announced at the time of Best Medicine’ s renewal in March. That is significant because Fox expanded its scripted portfolio for next season, adding two drama series, Baywatch and The Interrogator while cancelling only one comedy, Going Dutch , so there isn’t much room to do more episodes.
