Following his two Latin Grammy wins in 2025 for “En La City” and “Parriba” in the Best Urban Song and Best Rap/Hip-Hop Song categories, respectively, Argentine rapper Trueno has just dropped his fourth studio album, TURR4ZO . The album is a 14-song journey across genres, with one goal: Trueno returning to his Argentine roots through a variety of samples from his homeland. Sort-of title track “Turrazo” samples “ Tírate un Paso ,” a song by cumbia group Los Wachiturros, who played a major role in the genre’s resurgence in the modern era, meshing it with a quirky West Coast groove. “1000 Horas” samples “Mil Horas” by Argentine pop band Los Abuelos de la Nada, making for a catchy bop that Trueno flows over with ease alongside Andrés Calamaro.
