Crime Recap: 315 arrested last week in El Paso County

Colorado Springs police saw a conclusion to a months-long investigation into organized crime and a vehicle theft last week, among other incidents, with law enforcement making 315 arrests in El Paso County. From May 3 to May 9, the Colorado Springs Police Department posted five blotter entries to its public database of incidents approved for release.  Here is a recap of those entries: On Monday, police obtained a search warrant for a residence in the 5500 block of Prairie Schooner Drive, looking for a suspect with three felony and four misdemeanor warrants. The suspect was not found. On Wednesday, police were investigating a Mazda stolen from the 3800 block of Somerset Street, when they found Tyler Green, 24, driving the vehicle. When police attempted to stop Green, he eluded them several times, even “ramming into a police vehicle” before eluding them again. He was later found on foot and was arrested, and now faces charges of motor vehicle theft, felony eluding and criminal mischief.…
