By adamg on Wed., 5/13/2026 - 2:30 pm An East Boston landlord has filed plans for a two-story warehouse off McClellan Highway in East Boston that would supply concession stands and shops at Logan Airport via a fleet of electric delivery vehicles. In a letter of intent filed with the Boston Planning Department, Horizon/McClellan says it would replace a one-story warehouse at 160 McClellan Highway, behind the CubeSmart, with a two-story warehouse with eight electric-truck charging stations that  MarketPlace Development would use for an all electric fleet of vehicles to keep Logan visitors fed and hydrated and in possession of books and last-minutes gifts. Horizon/McClellan says it would also pay to build an extension of the Coughlin Bypass Road to the site from its current beginning on the other side of Chelsea Street - which would keep the delivery vehicles off McClellan Highway on the way to and from the airport.…
