It was bound to happen. No player can stay nearly perfect on the mound forever. On Sunday, May 3, the Cleveland Guardians took on the Athletics for the series finale of a three-game set. A combination of Parker Messick and Peyton Pallette handled the work on the mound, but neither was able to slow down the Athletics through the first six innings.
